Is a virtual world in 3d created by Linden Lab, is an avatar game, also is a multiverse, the players make the world.

The oficial web site, http://secondlife.com/ opened in 2003 and today have more of 3.300.000 residents, and have another page for the teenagers, Teen Second Life http://teen.secondlife.com/.

Second life is inspirated in the novel of science fiction “Snow Crash”.

This is free, but if you want to build a house, you have to spend money, 5 or 6$ monthly. And if you wont to have a mansion, or a island, you have to pay arround 295$ monthly!!

This is created for chating, meet people and socialize with other people.

The "Habbo hotel" is similar, but it is totally free.
