Past continuous!

It's formed by: the verb to be in past + the verb ending in -ing.

I was jumping
You were jumping
He/she was jumping
It was jumping
We were jumping
You were jumping
They were jumping

Negative:
I not/wasn't jumping
You weren't jumping
He/she wasn't jumping
It wasn't jumping
We/you/they weren't jumping.

Interrogative:
Was I playing
Were you playing?
Was He/she/ it jumping?
Were we/you/they jumping?

Answer:
Yes, I was jumping
No, you wasn't jumping
Yes, he/she/it was jumping
No, we/you/they weren't jumping.

We use it to express an action that it was in progress or if we don't know it's ending.

To express two actions that are in progress in the same moment.
Ex: I was wathing the tv, while the telephone rang.

To express two actions that are in progress in the past, that one of them starts before than the other.
Ex: when I arrived, John was talking on the phone.

Past simple!

It's formed by: verb + -ed (at the end of the word), but it have an exception, the irregular verbs.

I jumped
You jumped
He/she jumped
it jumped
We jumped
You jumped
They jumped

We use the past simple for actions or situations in the past now finished.
Ex: I played football this morning.

In some of them it's normally that it goes with an adverb of time.
Ex:I went to see my grandparents the last saturday.

Express a normally action in the past.
Ex:He always wathed tv at night.

Sometimes it can express an improbable condition
Ex:If I bought the pen, now I can write with it.

Some verbs are iregular; it doesn't finished with -ed.
Those verbs haven't got any rule, we have to learn it.
And it cahnges the word in the past and in the present perfect.

be - was/were - been
buy - bought -bought
find- found - found
Ex: I bought a new red car.


Negative:
I didn't jump
You didn't jump
He/She didn't jump
it didn't jump
we didn' jump
you didn't jump
They didn't jump

OUR PLANET!


Our planet it's our house, the most important thing in the universe for us, but if we don't preserve it, and we don't take care of it, we destroy all the good things in it, and our live.

The humans do very bad things.
Today, one of the most imprtant thing, and that the TV, newspaper, etc. in general the publicity, inform but we haven't pay atntion is the greenhouse effect, with teh pollution of cars, the factories, etc.

That is very bad, it produce a hole in the ozone layer, and that it's a very important problem, and also, another thing: When the infrared rays, enter into the earth, a cause of the pollution, it bounces into the particules of pollution and don't exit out of the earth, and it will be hotter, by this, today the temperature of the earth it's hotter than 20 years before.
And the south and north Pole are melting, and each day more quickly than yestreday.

With the new construction of buildings, camps of golf, hotels in the beach, etc. the deforestation of forest are a very big problem, without plants, we can't brath.

Today are so much species in extintion, because the hunters hunt some species to catch the money.

And for finish we have to reuse, and recycle, the paper, the plastic, the crystal, the bottles, anything that we can recycle.

If we don't pay atention about this things, the world will go to the been.
We are destroying all the good things taht we have, and if we don0't preserve it, we will lost it. And the worst, our site, our lives.
