About a book

Now I'm going to talk about Marina. Marina is a book wrote by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

I am readig it, and I have read a half, more or less.

Why am I reading this book?

Because some people have recomended it to me, because they like it a lot and because I have read some books of he, and I like his writing form very much.
My favourite book of Carlos Ruiz Zafón is "El Palacio de la Medianoche", I loved it. Now I am expectant and waiting to finish the book, people say that the end it's very good, and Marina is the best of his books.

Marina and El Palacio de la Medianoche starts talking about a boarding school. Carlos Ruiz Zafón, when he was young, he lived in a boarding school in Barcelona, he talks about this at the introduction of the book, and that is a curious point to consider.

Marina was publicated in 1999 in Barcelona by Edebé and it's traslated in seven languages.

Now I have to say that he writes quite well, and his books are fantastic and I like he very much.

Videogames

· The first "videogame" was created in 1940 by te Americans. It was a simulator of airplanes for the pilots in the army.

·Nowdays, technology is in everything, and videogames have developped a lot.

Now with powerful videoconsoles, like Play Station 3 or Xbox, videogames are completly real, their graphics are exceptional, you are playing and it seems real.

·Videogames now are business, but, we can find free videogames, on-line games.

·Also, pc, Play Station 3 and Xbox games have very good graphics, and some of those have on-line functions, so you can play with other people on the Internet.

·On the Internet there are pages with free on-line videogames, like "minijuegos" for example, but this games are very simply, also you can find other gfames, avatar games, like Second Lifie with 3D graphics and completly free, althought, you anc play to play.

·Now, we can say that videogames are used for entertaiment, it's a good way to spent time and get amused by playing, but always with control.

Fuerthermore, we have to respect the recomended ages to play te videogames. Because now there is so much violence in games.

· I like videogames, I have the PS3, and it's incredible, I prefer it than te pc.

Videogames are a good way to amuse and spent time, as I have said before.

TRIP TO ITALY.

Two weeks ago, the 25th March we went to Italy, our end of school year trip.
We won money selling cookies, drinks and chips.
We went to Barcelona to get the boat to Italy. We stayed in Barcelona all the evening, walking by the port and the “ramblas”, a street in Barcelona.
We left Barcelona at 4 o’clock in the morning, very late and we arrived to Rome at 6 am, we spent one day in the boat, but it was good, on the cover with the sun, very good.
In Rome, we went to the Vatican museum, to the Coliseum, Trevi`s fountain, the Pantheon, etc. really beautiful. At night, we were on the bus, going to Venetia.
We spent all the day in Venetia, buying their typical masks, and some of us get on gondola by the Venetia’s sea streets, I loved that.
After, we went to Florence, to the hotel. At night, we went to a disco; it was good, but very expensive.
The third day we visited Florence, its bridges, the cathedrals, etc. very beautiful, but the weather was rainy, and it rained all the day. At night, we went another time to other disco, but this was bigger and better than the first.
The last day we went to Pisa, to see the city, and in specially the lean tower of Pisa. The park was very green the tower very beautiful and its typical Italy buildings as well.
And finally, we caught the boat to Barcelona.
The trip didn’t last long, but it was FANTASTIC.
I love Italy it’s big and very beautiful, but I think that we can’t see it in a day each city that we have stayed, it isn’t enough time.
The relationship with friends and classmates was very good, I have spent a very good time with all t washe class, they are fantastic, all. And all of us had good times, yes.
Conclusion: I have to say that it was the best trip that we did, fantastic.
Now, It’s the finally term, and after Fallas, the trip and Easter, we have to study hard.

Led Zeppelin.

Led Zeppelin were an English rock band formed in 1968 by Jimmy Page (guitar), Robert Plant (vocals), John Paul Jones (bass guitar, keyboards) and John Bonham (drums).
They started in 1968, and they leave music in 1980, thirty years of excellent music, of concerts, they were and are one of the best groups in the world.

Led Zeppelin are regarded as one of the first heavy metal bands.

rock-infused interpretation of the blues and folk genres also incorporated rockabilly,reggae, soul,funk, classical, Celtic, Indian, Arabic, pop, Latin and country.

The name of the group was elected by a joke and the acciden of the Hindenbur zeppelin, the cover of the firs disc was a photo of the accident.

They sold more than fourty millions of copies in the world, one of the bests records in the world.

William of Ockham


William de Ockham was a franciscan friar and English scholastic philosopher.
He was born in 12800, in a little village of Surrey, nearly East Hosrley.
He went to the franciscan order when he were young. He studied in Oxford, but he didn't finish his studies.When he left the studies, he wrote his philosophical and theological books.
The Papa Juan XXII condemned to him by heresy, and he stayed four years in the Avignon jail under house arrest.
In 1328 he fled Avignon, and he went with Miguel Cesna and more friars to Pisa.

Ockham was the greatest nominalist and metaphysician, and one of the most intelligent person in the Average age.

He is one father of the modern philosophy.
He wrote more than thirty philosophy, religion and policy books.

New Zeland.

New Zeland is a country of Oceania, in the Pacific ocean, the Tasmanian sea and the Antartic ocean.

The first city is Auckland and the capital Wellington.

New Zeland mesures 268.680 km2, the population are 4.098.920 inhabitants, the majority european, and a little percentage are Maories, old natives.

History:

New Zeland were one of the recent countries, discovered in 1614 by the Dutch.

They called this country Staaten Land before New Zeland.

It converted in a Britanic colony with the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840.

It became independent from the United Kingdom the 26 of september of the 1907.

Policy:

New Zealand is a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary democracy.

New Zealand haven't got any written constitution. Nevertheless, the Act of Constitution (wrote in 1986) is the main formal declaration of the constitutional structure of the country.

Natural beauty:

New Zeland have so much natural beautiful places, the mountain Cook, the Mapourika lake, etc.

Also, have interesting and modern cities, like Auckland.

This country, I think it's good for a travel, to live, I don't know, but with the images I have seen, it seems very pretty to go.

Barack Obama and John McCain

The last elections of the United Statets of America, was the 4th of November. Obama, the democratic and republican candidate, won the USA elections.
After all the electoral campaigns, speciall, the Obama's and McCain's, speeches, meetings, critics of they two between the other, the explanation of news methods and things to change the world, the people of the USA, vote for Obama.
John McCain, a person who is conservative, who is patriotic, it's a bit old, he have 75 years, I think that Barack Obama, will govern better the USA, than McCain. He is younger than John, he is patriotic aswell, but with different ideas and visions of the world.
In his campaign, Obama promised and said that he will change the world.
The United States of America, is the most, and the powerfull world-wid power, and, now, after the govern of Bush, the world, change, and change to bad, so, Obama, said that he will change the world for a new, and improved.
I think he is going to govern very well, he have very good future ideas, for the worlds crisis, for example.
In my opinion, I think that Obama was the best otpion to vote, and he will sort many world's problems.
So, good luck, Barack. Yes, they can.

MAS DE NOGUERA

The 6th, 7th and 8th of October, we went to Mas de Noguera, in the mountain range of Espadà.
The landscape was very very beautiful.
We caught the train in the Renfe to Caudiel. We arrived, and we walk from the station to the Mas.
The Mas are three houses, one, the build of the bedrooms, another, the offices, the dining room, and the kitchen, and the last, in there, they make the bread, and the flour with a small mill.
Also, a small farm, with cows, sheeps, etc. a greenhouese with plants, mills for the elctricity, and solar plates.
At the night, we did some plays, for example, one was to comb somebody with a original hair looked, another was to put in colthes, and the winner was the boy or girl who wear more clothes at the same time.
The next day, we did two activities, one activitie was cooking, half group did "cocas", and the another half did cookies of almond and chocolate. The another activitie was in the vegetable garden, and we planted some seeds and vegetables.
In the evening, we went to a enormous cave in the top of a mountain.
We did a finally party with creppes, pop corn and music, the woman of the Mas was very good this night.
Then, the finally day, we caught the bus, and went to a ravine, we walk above it one hour and half a hour.
Then, we went home.

Web 2.0!

Web 2.0 is used to refer the second generation of web based in communities of users and special services like: social networks, blogs, wikis... and more things, they foment the collaboration.

So we can understand thet web 2.0 is all of the utilities and services of internet, that they are sustained in a data base, so the users of the service can modify its content ( add, change or delete information or associating data at the existing information), in the form of presentation, or in its content and in its simultaneously form.

And in the future the web 2.0 is going to do multiple opportunities of business.

TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION!

The relation between technology and education I think is a very good idea, introduce the technology in the classroom, it improved the teaching form, to news things and it changes to news objectives.

With some internet tools, and not in internet, we can teach and learn more things about the technologies.

Now we are in the information time, internet is a very very good tool, made with pages and pages, of people, chats, blogs, forums, etc...

But for good use, you have to learn some of the objectives of computers and internet, for that, we have computer classes, they are very important for the good use.

And you can learn more educative things, with tools like blog.

This school project, i like it, I think its very go to learn english, and more things to do on a personal website, put gadgets, links, etc..

Now, I think, we can't live without the news technologies, so, if we introduce that in school, what is better than technology to learn? I think, nothing!

I haven't got a favourite writer, because, I didn't read so books about one.

I have read so many books. The bests I think and for me, I have read are: A journey to the center of the earth of Jules Verne, The palace of the midnight of Carlos Ruíz Zafon, The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket of Edgar Allan Poe, The last book I have read is when Hitler robbed the pink rabbit of Judith Kerr, It's a very very bad book, it is a autobiography of the writer, interesting but very boring. The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, of Jhon Boyne, I like it very much, so now, I am going to do this entry about Jhon Boyne.

John Boyne was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1971. He studied English literature at Trinity college and creative Writing at the University of East Anglia.

He have wrote five novels: The thief of time, The congress of rough riders, Crippen, Next of kin and The boy in the striped pyjamas and another one about 70 short stories and many book reviews, articles and non-fiction pieces.

He have won 2 Irish Book Awards, the Bisto Book of the Year Award, and a shortlisted of many other prizes.

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide and been made into a Miramax feature film.

Acampada!!

The last 12 (monday) of may to 16(friday), we went to camping, we have gone to north of Spain, to estella, the first hostel, the second was in rialp.

We have done a little part of the way of Santiago, it was very beautiful, the forest, the littles towns, the fields, very very beautiful.

Also, we have gone to Jaca, to roncesvalles, we did rafting, it was impresionant, with the boats, the neoprene was very rare, and the waves of the river!. We have gone to a national park in the mountain and a lake, and another with cascades, but it was dirty.

And the last day, we went to Caldea, in Andorra!

Caldea was impresionant, it is a spa, but very very big, with a big pool, inside and outside, with two saunas, Turkish bath, roman bath, and more things, it was the best!

And after that, we went to a commercial center, very strange.

Easter!

This easter I have stayed at home.

I will go to skiing, but my grandmather falled ill, so I stayed in Valencia.

I didn't do anything interesting, I met my friends, I ate in restaurants, I read comics, i play computer games, etc.

I ate the easter "mona" withe the easter egg.

I visited a part of my family, it was very good.

I did my homework, and nothing more.

What is easter?

The christian easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus.

The holidays varies between the 22 of march and 25 of april.

the easter was celebrate with the easter jew, but with the "conciliate of Nicea" they separate it.

That holiday determinies other holidays, like the Ascent, or the "Pentecostés".

FALLAS!!
The last fallas finished the 19 of march, the day of "la cremà", when all the fallas monuments burn to finish the holidays. but this year, after fallas was Easter.
I rent a flat in the distric of Carmen with a friends of Barcelona.
And I stayed there all the fallas holidays.

I have seen so much "ninots", I think that the "Nou Campanar" was the best, and it won the prize!
And all the fallas I was in my "casal", with the friends, throwing bangers, eating "buñuelos" with chocolate, etc.
It was very funny.
The day of the "ofrenda" I dress up, with tipical clothes of Valencia, and I walked 2 hours to the Virgins seat, although it don't believe in God, it was good.
I have seen mascletàs, la nit del foc, etc.
And to finally the fallas, the "cremà" the best day and also the worst day,
the besst because I think is the last day, when you have to pass it happy, and because the ninot burns.
and the worst because the fallas finish, the ninot burns also, it's sad because it's very pretty, and because you have to said goodbye to your friends to the next year...

This fallas was the best!

THIS IS ENGLAND
I think that This is England is a very good film, based in the 80's, about a group of skinhead, and a little boy, who in the school the people make bullying to he, and who aslo is influenced by a skinhead gruop.
This film shows the urban tribes of the 80's, and the relationship between skinhead.
Been a skinhead don't significate that is a racism people, or antifascist, it's another urban tribe, but with different thoughts and a little bit of violence. Within this, there are differents tipes, the film, shows at the begining a normal group, but when arrive some people, it becames to bad, it becames to a nacionalist, fascist, and racist.
I think that this film is very very good, I like it very much, and give me some information that I haven't know.
Their appearence: they wear boots like Dr. martens, tight jeans, braces, and shirts, it depends.
